In general, humor involves an unexpected departure from a pattern while also being true, and, for whatever reason, humans are positively tickled by things like that. This is partly why we impersonate people, exaggerating their idiosyncrasies by mimicking them. This person did David Bowie’s Jareth role from the film Labyrinth.
Just to add, almost every mainstream comedian plied their trade on impersonating Donald Trump, which was initially hilarious. However, when everyone started doing it, in came an expected pattern. Why would this be bad for comedy? Dave Chapelle, a famous comedian, claimed it would be boring.
