The Legendary Hollywood Tea Party
You know those moments where you hear or smell something, and it takes you back in time. A lion’s growl is one of those, and whenever we listen to it, we know a movie is about to start. The mascot of Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer (MGM) Studios is a real-life lion named Leo.
This picture shows the famous director Alfred Hitchcock serving tea to Leo in 1957. What a meeting it would have been with two Hollywood greats together. However, MGM is no more and was purchased by the online streaming platform Amazon in 2021.
