Leonie Beseech As Princess Cecilie – 30 Years Old
Leonie Benesch is a German actress based in London and has acted in major productions such as “Babylon Berlin” and “The Crown.” She was one of the leading roles in the 2009 Golden Palm-winning movie, “The White Ribbon.” Her performance was singled out by critics as “a discovery” and she got the American “Young Artist Award” and “New Faces Award” for it.
She starred in the drama “Picco in 2010, and also in “Colours in the Dark.” In 2017, Benesch’s performance in “Babylon Berlin” won her the “German Acting Prize.” Her role in “The Crown” was that of the sister of Prince Philip, Princess Cecilie of Greece and Denmark.
