The Sun Rays In Spain Fall Mainly In Jerez

In Spain, the city of Jerez de la Frontera has found an ingenious way to kill two birds with one stone—figuratively. The city is renowned for its production of wine sherry, with the famous Sherry Triangle situated to the west of the city. It’s also famous for flamenco music and fairly hot summers.
To counter the latter, winemakers have grown the grapevines for the former between the city’s buildings, with them growing into canopies overhead, shading the streets, and creating a dappled effect with the sunshine coming through. There are even informative walking tours for tourists visiting the area.
