Everyone wants to feel and know they are not alone when sick. You had agreed with us that having someone by your side through rough moments gives the assurance that things will be fine. This animal hospital had no plans on falling short on that concept.
The veterinarian kept an assistant as a comfort dog to help, comfort, and emotionally encourage the sick patients that everything would be alright. It might have seemed strange, but the dog in drips seemed like she needed the solace offered by the assistant. She got exactly the reassurance she wanted.
