Freddie Mercury may have written Bohemian Rhapsody, but Brian May has written just as many hits as the iconic singer when it comes to the band Queen. Some of these include We Will Rock You, Fat Bottomed Girls, Flash, and Hammer to Fall, among many other films.
Despite his status as a rock star and virtuoso musician, which has given him a sizeable net worth of $210 million, May still completed his studies. He is a qualified astrophysicist and completed his Ph.D. in 2008, graduating from Imperial College. On New Year’s Eve 2020, May and queen performed with singer Sarah Brightman and composer Yoshiki.
