One Last Creature to Save

One by one, Peter hauled the tiny creatures from the depths of the well. But there was still one left. Hana’s mind raced as she looked around, but then she realized the bear could help. “The bear!” she exclaimed. “It can carry the last one.”
She lifted the final creature into the bear’s mouth, watching as the bear gently clamped down around it, its protective instincts kicking in once more. The bear had led them here for a reason, and now it was helping them finish the job. Hana and Peter quickly made their way out of the woods, their hearts pounding with both relief and trepidation.
