Nehemiah Persoff – Age 102
Not many Millennials and GenZ’ers know about Nehemiah Persoff, the actor known for his portrayals in “An American Tail,” “Twins,” “Some Like It Hot,” and “The Wrong Man.” His career started in the ’40s but was briefly stalled due to World War II.
His comeback, however, was impressive as he found success by joining Stella Adler. Persoff became known for his villainous characters although he eventually played softer parts in the latter part of his career. Before the turn of the millennium, he retired from the industry, focused on painting, and as of September 2021, released his autobiography.
