Man, Mouse, and Dog’s Best Friend
Mickey Mouse’s best friend and trusty companion is none other than Pluto, who is possibly the most famous dog in the world. The friendly pooch first appeared in the 1930 film “The Chain Gang” alongside his pal and quickly became a fan favorite. In fact, Walt Disney loved him so much that he became one of the Sensational Six—Disney’s biggest stars.
It’s no surprise that the character is a favorite of real canines everywhere. Just as humans get excited about meeting their TV heroes in person, this service dog was ecstatic upon meeting Pluto. Dogs can often be anxious when encountering people in costumes, but this one instantly felt calm.
