Not Your Typical Swing
The Orlando StarFlyer is not for the faint-hearted, as it stands at an impressive height of 450 feet, making it the tallest stand-alone swing ride in the world. Thrill-seekers will be delighted to know that it can rotate at speeds of up to 45 miles per hour! Surprisingly, there is no age or weight limit, just a height requirement.
While the ride is very safe for riders, the same is not the case for the maintenance operators, at least considering the incident of 2020. During a routine safety check, Jacob David Kaminsky, a 21-year-old amusement-park worker, tragically fell to his death.
