A fervent admirer of Mickey Mouse, she donned a headband and delicate accessory that spoke volumes of her devotion.
The marquee above her brought to mind Walt Disney’s groundbreaking creation “Fantasia,” a masterful blend of animation and classical music. This ambitious project of the ’40s is now widely regarded as one of the greatest animated films of all time. In 1990, it was added to the United States National Film Registry by the Library of Congress for its cultural, historical, and aesthetic significance.
