Katarina Witt is one of the most successful figure skaters in Germany. She won Olympic gold twice and several world and European championship titles. After retiring from competitive sports, she produced figure skating shows for Europe and the USA, among other things. But she also appeared on the TV show Let’s Dance as a judge and got some attention as an actress as well. With her foundation, she mainly supports children, be it in medical care, disaster relief or in the promotion of sports.
