Where Did That Pole Come From?

In a dramatic embodiment of “speed” gone awry, a speedboat, living up to its name, slices through the water with such velocity that caution seems to have been left back on land. The driver, caught in the thrill of the moment, fails to spot a pole jutting out of the water. The boat collides with the pole in a split second, resulting in a spectacular yet unfortunate spectacle.
The vessel, impaled by the pole, has nearly split in two and is fast sinking. Interestingly, a vessel named ‘The Spirit of Australia’ is known for its incredible speed holds the record as the fastest boat, reaching 318 miles per hour.
