Jorge Garcia, MacGyver – 100 Pounds
Jorge Garcia was content with his body image. It actually helped him with his comedy and didn’t really bother him until he landed his role in the popular series Lost. As Hugo “Hurley” Reyes, he had to play an overweight character who was gradually losing weight due to being stuck on a remote island.
He did what was required for the role, using fad methods to get the weight off. But once the show ended, he started gaining weight again. To remedy this, he took a more sustainable approach quitting drinking, exercising, and eating a high protein diet. Garcia had a part in a 2021 episode of MacGyver.
