Born in Seoul, CL started her journey in Japan and France growing up. This multilingual artist honed her skills at JYP Entertainment before lighting up the stage at YG Entertainment at just 15. Her 2NE1 debut in 2009 was a game-changer.
Even after the girl group disbanded in 2016, CL became the first K-pop artist to grace “The Late Late Show” with James Corden in 2016, performing her hit “Lifted.” She continued to shine as a solo act under YG until her contract ended in 2019. In a 2022 Coachella moment to remember, CL reunited with her 2NE1 gals on stage for a legendary “I Am the Best” performance.
