Jaehee, the versatile artist of Weeekly, wears multiple hats as a singer, rapper, and actress. She’s the group’s lead rapper and vocalist, adding a vibrant layer to their music. Her story to stardom is fascinating; she trained with IST Entertainment (formerly Play M Entertainment) from August 2018 until her stellar debut in June 2020.
But before becoming a K-pop star, Jaehee was a child actress with seven years of experience. Her playful nickname, Lee Jelly, emerged from the clever wordplay with the similar pronunciation of her name. Plus, she’s pretty fond of jelly. The Weeekly members were actually the ones who created the moniker for her.
