A Tipping Point

Surely, this elephant wouldn’t dig herself to death, would she? Her stubbornness was evident, refusing to abandon her task. Eventually, her efforts brought her to a standstill. Exhausted, she collapsed onto her side, succumbing to fatigue. It was unclear whether it was heat stroke or sheer exhaustion, but she lay still on the ground.

Suddenly, she rose again, ready to continue her mission. This was when she finally noticed the food surrounding her. Her need to eat quickly overtook her, and she began consuming the offerings the villagers had placed to distract her from the hole. Their plan was finally working, and this cow really needed it.
