Aging and cosmetic surgery is a touchy topic for most celebrities, and it usually seems like a Hollywood taboo to admit you’ve had some work done on you even though it’s something of an epidemic in the industry. Every Tom, Dick, and Harry want to look young and never age, and they’d go to any length to put make that possible, including transforming themselves completely to the point where they are unrecognizable.
From little jabs of Botox to severe procedures like a breast implant, here is a piece on the drastic transformation of some of them while trying to remain youthful and ageless.
Melanie Griffith – 65
Melanie Griffith is an actress and film producer who got her big break at 17 by playing a runaway teenager in Night Moves. Though she’d been an eye-catching beauty since she started, she’s had quite the dramatic transformation since.
In an interview with Porter Magazine, Griffith had revealed that she didn’t realize how she had gone until people started exclaiming at her look, which she said hurt. She said she had to see another doctor remove everything and was hoping she looked better after. In the 2020 movie, The High Note, Griffith had made an appearance as Tess Sherwood.
Tori Spelling – 49
American actress and author Tori Spelling began her career as an actress at the young age of seventeen when she starred in Beverly Hills, 90210, and got famous for her role on the show, which earned two award Nominations. Although there have been speculations about how many plastic surgeries she’s had, many of them were unconfirmed except for when she admitted to having a nose job and breast implants.
Spelling also revealed that her children couldn’t recognize her when she showed them Beverly Hills, 90210, which goes to show how much she’s transformed over the years. She’s the co-host of a comedy show, Messyness, which premiered in August 2021.
Donatella Versace – 67
Italian fashion designer, model, businesswoman, and socialite, Donatella Versace, is the sister of Gianni Versace, who was the founder of the famous luxury fashion company Versace. After her brother’s demise, she took over running the affairs of the company, and her look has noticeably been transforming since then.
Versace claimed she’s only gotten Botox. However, from all indications and appearances, she’s had way more than that. At first, it was a subtle change that made her appear younger, but with time, it had gone overboard. This did not affect her creative skill as she won the Fashion Icon award at GQ Awards in Berlin in 2018.
Cardi B – 29
Cardi B got her start on Love and Hip Hop in 2015, and she’s been famous ever since. She dropped her Bodak Yellow album in 2017, which further propelled her into the spotlight with awards and nominations to boot. Known for her authentic candor and unabashed personality, Cardi B has been candid about how she came about her ample bosom and shapely backside.
She’d had breast implants at the age of 18 and illegal fillers in her backside at 20, which she said built her confidence. In September 2021, Cardi B gave birth to her second child with her partner, Offset.
