ROBERT DE NIRO – 76 YEARS OLD
Both Joker and The Irishman, both from 2019, have given Robert De Niro back the prestige and relevance of his best years. Both roles evoked his glorious past (The King of Comedy and One of Ours, respectively) and were two of the most viewed, discussed and nominated for awards last year. But now De Niro is back with En guerra con mi abuelo, a family comedy in which he plays a seventy-year-old who commits a series of crimes against his nephew in order not to have to share a room with him. Thus, the considered best actor of his generation continues to dig the grave of his legacy: he has made 27 films in the last decade and 19 have been ridiculed by critics and / or ignored by the public.
