The Rise of the Carp
Reporters literally have to follow the story wherever it goes. So when Carley Gordon was assigned a story on Asian carp taking over United States waters at the Cheatham Reservoir, she jumped at it. No one could have expected it’ll result in a funny incident.
Because while Gordon was holding a carp and explaining how they can grow up to 12 lbs, the fish wiggled in her hand and scared her. In a blink of an eye, she dropped it and almost toppled herself and a wildlife official into the river. Luckily, no one was hurt and she even tweeted about the incident later.
