OMG! You Scared Me!
KTLA reporter Wendy Burch is another journalist who’s experienced a passerby interrupting her while on the job. This time, the culprit simply remained still and spooked her. At the time, Burch was covering news of Los Angeles’ bid for the 2024 Olympic Games. According to her, the IOC was considering other cities like Paris and Rome.
However, seconds later, she noticed the man creeping up on her. Luckily, Burch was a good sport about the incident and continued laughing. She couldn’t continue the report, so the anchor at the studio had to take over. Luckily, she’d delivered the important tidbits beforehand.
