Neil Diamond and Marcia Murphey – Settlement: $150 Million
The famous singer-songwriter, Neil Diamond, married his second wife, Marcia Murphey, in 1969. The couple has absolutely in love and even had two wonderful sons as a result. However, after 25 years of marriage, the pair split in 1995 due to supposed “irreconcilable differences” between them. Diamond agreed to hand over half of his assets to his beloved wife without so much as a court order.
The half was worth $150 million at the time and he stated that Murphey was worth it all, even going so far as to give her credit for getting him through his darkest days. Murphey has since exited the spotlight while Diamond has gone on to be remarried to Katie McNeil.
