Paul McCartney and Heather Mills – Settlement: $48 million
The English singer-songwriter, Paul McCartney, and his model ex-wife, Heather Mills, first appeared together publicly at the start of 2000. After being in a relationship for two years, the pair got married in a grand ceremony in Ireland, and a year later they had a baby girl. However, after three years of being a little happy family, Mills filed for divorce.
She cited their appearance on The View with Barbara Walters as the reason for their split, stating that McCartney had not defended her aptly. The split was finalized in 2006, and Mills walked away with $48 million in the settlement.
