Miranda Richardson
As one of the greatest actresses of her time in any medium, Miranda Richardson was born in March 1958 in Southport. Alumni of the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, she made her movie debut as Ruth Ellis in the 1985 tragedy film “Dance with a Stranger.”
The Academy-nominated star has also played the role of Rita Skeeter, a journalist for the Daily Prophet in the Harry Potter film series. The actress has a very secluded life and has never been married and has no children. She instead likes dog walking, training falcons, and gardening.
