Marisa Abela became the talk of the town when she was cast to play the iconic Amy Winehouse in the biopic “Back to Black,” which was released in 2024. She embraced the late singer’s look, which was why when she stepped out in North London with boyfriend Jamie Bogyo in March of the same year, she shocked fans with her flawless skin.
In a departure from her on-screen persona, Marisa embraced a more natural look during that outing, foregoing heavy eyeliner and voluminous beehive hairstyles. In a Harper’s Bazaar interview, she explained that beauty for her was all about feeling good from the inside out.
