Knowing that there is a track-related accident happening somewhere in the United States every three hours makes this photo even more shuddering. Vehicles don’t hold up against the average locomotive, which weighs about 400,000 pounds. In layman’s terms, it’s like pitting a can of soda against your average vehicle.
