Gillian Anderson – $40 Million
During the ’90s, Gillian Anderson was a force to be reckoned with in Hollywood. Her career soared to new heights following her popular portrayal of FBI Special Agent Dana Scully in the hit sci-fi series, The X-Files. At the height of the show’s popularity, Anderson was earning $240K per episode.
Following the show’s end in 2002, Anderson made an impromptu decision to walk away from showbiz and moved to London instead. She recently shared a sneak preview of her new series The First Lady. Produced by Showtime, the political drama is set for a 2022 release.
