Al Gore – Nashville (Approx. $2.3 Million)

You have really got to give it to Al Gore for walking the talk. The 45th vice president of the United States, who happens to be a staunch environmentalist, gave his Nashville, Tennessee home a green upgrade in the ’00s following comments on its high energy consumption.
Gore, who spoke at United Nations Climate Change Conference in 2021, bought the 10,000 square-foot mansion for $2.3 million and spent more on home remodeling projects to update it. According to NBC News, solar panels and better insulation were added to the residence leading it to receive the second-highest rating from the Green Building Council.
