Hollywood introduced many talented stars to people over the years, and even if there are many rising young stars already, it’s hard to forget about all the iconic actors we saw in films and shows back in the day. Many of them had careers that made them money for decades, while others preferred life away from the limelight.
Even if these people disappear from their respective industries, their fans won’t forget them because of their achievements in their careers. Let’s look at some of the stars from back then who are still alive, and let’s see how much their lives changed after their careers peaked.

Billy Dee Williams – Age 84

In the mid-’40s, when Billy Dee Williams was only seven years old, he made his Broadway theatre debut. He pursued painting when he was a college student, and acting work allowed him to earn funds for his art supplies. In the early ’80s, his fame skyrocketed when he joined the ‘Star Wars’ franchise as Lando Calrissian.
The last time he played the character was during the 2019 film, ‘The Rise of Skywalker.’ His other memorable roles were in ‘Brian’s Song’ and ‘Lady Sings the Blues.’ Williams remained active all these years, and he did voice work for the TV movie ‘The Lego Star Wars Holiday Special’ in 2020.
