Kelly Bishop – Born In 1944
Coincidentally, the American actress Kelly Bishop became famous for playing two moms: the mother of ‘Frances Houseman’ in the ’80s classic “Dirty Dancing” and the matriarch ‘Emily Gilmore’ in the beloved 2000 TV series “Gilmore Girls.” But this former dancer from Colorado Springs is still working in show business today.
Even though she started her career in 1966, Bishop is still not thinking of retiring. In recent years, she collected appearances in productions such as “Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life,” “The Salzburg Story,” and “Halston.” In 2022, she made it to a couple of episodes of “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.”
