Lauren Chapin, 75, Born in 1945 – Father Knows Best
As a child, Lauren Chapin already impressed critics for her portrayal of the young Kathy Anderson in the ‘50s show Father Knows Best. Even before she reached adolescence, the star had bagged five Junior Emmy Awards for Best Child Actress. In 1980, she took on the role of Ace’s mom in the movie Scout’s Honor.
After this stint, Chapin retreated from the limelight, only to come back in 2016 to play Mama Bev in the show School Bus Diaries. Away from the public eye, the 75-year-old has been helping those in need by engaging in charity works. Currently, she remains busy managing several stars.
