Carrie Henn
Carrie Henn was a young actor who briefly quit after appearing in one of the most popular science fiction movies. In the 1986 film “Aliens,” she co-starred alongside Sigourney Weaver. Henn played Newt, a young woman who was shielded by Weaver from an alien invasion while taking part in the space battle.
Although Henn’s minor role still brought her critical acclaim, several young actor award nominations, and a win, she moved on to lead a truly regular life and establish a career as a teacher. She said she’d fulfilled her real-life ambition, which had always been to become an instructor for as long as she could remember.
