Barbara Knox – Coronation Street – Age 87
The near-flawless Barbara Knox looks nothing like her age, although that is stating the obvious. She must be very good at keeping secrets because no media publication has been able to uncover her formula for anti-aging. Of course, that’s not to say there’s actually any formula, as the award-winning actress could just be benefiting from very healthy living.
She’s had a long and fulfilled career that has seen her play the character of Rita Tanner in “Coronation Street” since 1972. This achievement makes her one of the world’s longest-serving soap opera actresses. It also means she’s barely starred in any other project since the turn of the century.
