The Early Bird Rule

Time management is key, right down to game day arrivals. It may come as a surprise, but cheerleaders are required to arrive a staggering five hours before the game begins. This rule allows sufficient time for them to prepare, rehearse, and ensure every move is perfected for their performance.
Additionally, it factors in time for costume preparation, makeup application, and any last-minute team meetings. To outsiders, this might seem excessively early. But it’s a testament to the discipline and dedication required to deliver those flawless routines we see during the game. NFL cheerleading, it seems, is a game of perfect timing.
