Charlène of Monaco – born 1978

Charlene of Monaco was born in what is now Zimbabwe as Charlene Wittstock. Her mother was a swimming instructor at the time, and so young Charlene became enthusiastic about swimming from an early age. In 1996, she won the South African Swimming Championships and celebrated international success at the All Africa Games in Johannesburg. In her career as a swimmer, she won 4 gold and 2 silver medals for South Africa. In 2000, Charlene Wittstock met the then Crown Prince of Monaco, Albert, in Monaco, and the couple officially married in 2011. The Princess of Monaco’s career as a swimmer is definitely evident in her appearance. At 43, she still looks young and fit today.
