Ellen DeGeneres’ world crumbled when horror stories about her and her eponymous talk show surfaced. This nightmare seemed to be far from over after employees came out with their harrowing tales about their negative experiences on the set of the program.
Will all the issue about the host seeing light, the #RIPEllen began trending – but why? The philanthropist certainly wasn’t dead but the hashtag seemed to suggest that. Apparently, the public didn’t want her to return to the show anymore.

With the cancelation rumors up in the air, James Corden’s name popped up as one of the people who can replace Ellen. After all, both are equally amusing and surely, the audience needs someone who can make them laugh.
Tabloid sources claimed that NBC is already eyeing James as Ellen’s successor long before the stories about the rumored rude attitude of the 62-year-old circulated. Although it would seem that he is the perfect fit for the position, a lot of people didn’t want him to step into thoes shoes.
Rude Stories
Stories about how unkind James started spreading and before you know it, more and more people accused him of being rude, just like Ellen. Louis Peitzman, an entertainment reporter, was one of the first who reacted on the news that the 41-year-old is a contender to replace the syndicated talk show host.

The writer sarcastically described James as ‘famously kind,’ prompting others to tell their stories about the funnyman. The claims, which remain unverified, ranged from the people’s experience with the British celebrity to his preference of lowering down his staffers’ salary.
One claimed that James was rude toward his wife and child during a plane ride. As per the narration, their kid was throwing a tantrum during a trip and the mom was obviously struggling to deal with the youngster but the star was seated away from his family and chose to ignore the chaos.
Response
Among all the accusations, James particularly responded to the one told by writer Jack Allison, who said that the celebrity came to a Writer’s Guild meeting without his coworkers and advocated for lower pay for late-night writers. The host retaliated, saying he was invited to the conference and that the allegations were untrue.

James argued that he was there to suggest a program for new intern writers who may have a hard time finding opportunities since there are many established names in the industry already. He also added his recommendation was so the youngsters wouldn’t get exploited by shows.
James further said that it was disappointing that Jack twisted the past events. However, the writer stood his ground and insisted that the star went to the meeting to push for low pay for writers.
