Lady Gaga is one of the most eccentric artists in the entertainment industry, and it’s her unapologetic sense of individuality that has gained her so much popularity over the years.
The singer has grabbed headlines with her over-the-top antics and red carpet appearances — I mean, who can forget her 2010 dress at the MTV VMAs, which oddly resembled a piece of meat?

Her VMA appearance became so iconic that some scientists decided to name an insect after Gaga, all thanks to the meat dress. But when she takes off her entertainer mask, Lady Gaga is like any other normal person who is spiritual at heart.
The singer has had some interesting encounters over the course of her successful career, but the most interesting anecdote she has ever told is the one where she encountered a ghost named Ryan who was apparently obsessed with her.
Now we know how crazy fans can get when it comes to their celebrity idols, and some of them have even received restraining orders for trespassing private property and endangering the lives of their favorite celebrities just for a chance to meet them.
But can you imagine being chased by an actual ghost who might be obsessed with you? We obviously don’t have any verified sources or witnesses who can corroborate Lady Gaga’s story, in which case we have no other option but to take her word for it.

The singer claims that she first started noticing something spooky in 2010 and decided to consult a medium to help her communicate with the spirits around her. She thought that the ghost who was haunting her was trying to send a message.
But in order to decode it, she needed a special device called the Electro Magnetic Field meter which can detect any strong energy in your surroundings that you can’t see. The state-of-the-art ghost detector cost her $50,000 but it was worth the splurge for someone like Gaga, who has such strong spiritual beliefs.
Lady Gaga even thought that the presence of an evil spirit around her was a bad sign for her career so she hired an entire team of professional ghostbusters who were responsible to detect any paranormal activity at concert venues before her performances.

This isn’t the first time Gaga has made headlines with her extravagant expenses. The singer spends an eye-popping $600,000 on private air travel to transport her jaw-dropping stage costumes and her entire team. What’s more, she paid $50,000 to a NASA scientist to figure out a way to release steam out of her show costume.
