Jesse Ventura – Petty Officer Third Class: 1969
Jesse Ventura has had a long and varied career, but his time in the military is not so surprising, considering he’s the child of two World War II veterans. After graduating from high school, he joined the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. Ventura was a member of the Underwater Demolition Team(UDT), which simply referred to themselves as SEALs due to a restructuring that occurred after the war.
After leaving the Navy in 1975, he made a name for himself in the wrestling world before running for mayor of Brooklyn Park, Minnesota. In 2021, Ventura hosted the RT America show, “The World According to Jesse.”
