Buster Keaton – Unknown Rank: 1917

Buster Keaton was a pioneering actor with a career spanning over four decades. He was well known for his deadpan comedic style. Born into a vaudeville family, he started acting from a very young age in their group known as “The Three Keatons.” From 1917, Keaton served in the U.S. Army and was stationed in France, often entertaining soldiers with his comical performances.

After his service, he returned to the United States and featured in career-defining films like “One Week,” “Cops,” and “The General.” Sadly, he passed away in 1966, but his legacy remains intact. In 2018, “The Great Buster,” a documentary based on his life, was released.
