Pat Sajak – Army Spc. Fifth Class: 1968
Pat Sajak is an absolute embodiment of talent as an American TV personality and game show host. After leaving high school, Sajak joined the Army during the Vietnam War as a clerk typist with a specialist fifth class ranking before his skills were recognized and ordered to entertain.
He worked as a DJ on the armed forces radio, which helped him gain experience in entertainment. Immediately after the war, Sajak focused on his entertainment career and became known as the host of “Wheel of Fortune.” In 2021, Sajak and Vanna White sealed a new deal to keep running the game show.
