Visiting the aquarium is exciting, but eating in a restaurant that is like an aquarium is truly an experience. This is what Norwegian designers Snøhetta, created when they built this underwater restaurant in the country famous for its salmon. The structure is designed half in and half outside the ocean.
It’s roughly 103 feet long and has walls that are roughly three feet thick, and became Europe’s first restaurant of this kind in 2019. It was built to seat 100 people and also has a window looking out into the ocean. Other notable ones around the world include “Ithaa Undersea Restaurant,” “Sea” and “Subsix” all situated in the Maldives.
