Turkey is a country steeped in ancient lore and structure. From its days known as the Ottoman Empire, the country and its structures were mostly historical and ornate. But there is another side to the nation, which former architect and current artist Yener Torun showcased in images of modern Turkey.
He has a collection of photos showcasing the colorful side of cities in Turkey. He admits that the country isn’t known for these kinds of simpler designs or such vibrant coloring, but through his photos and his Instagram account, he has been showcasing Tukey for what it is… a modern, vibrant country.
