The world got to know the Royal Mail thanks to the famous British clay animation story Postman Pat. He drove around delivering mail in a red van while also going on various little adventures. Well, those red vans are real, along with the Royal Mail, and they’ve gotten an upgrade.
The result of this upgrade is these adorable electric vans. They look little like buses but are the new way London’s mail is getting to their recipients. Designed and manufactured by a company called Arrival, the one in the picture is the smallest, weighing three and a half tons with a battery that can go for roughly 100 miles.
