If there is one thing the world needs more of, it’s trees. With urbanization constantly diminishing natural landscapes, it’s become necessary for humans to repopulate the earth with plants and trees. Some people just got very clever with how they did it. One such smarty-pants is architect Luciano Pia.
He chose to use a piece of the urbanized world in Turin, Italy, and turn it into a tree hugger’s paradise. There are a rumored 150 trees in this apartment building, and its residents (yes, people live there) are protected from noise and air pollution. Plus, the world has more trees.
