Catching Some Sleep In The Trenches
Now, we found conflicting information about this one. According to The Guardian, this candid shot is an image of two soldiers from Serbia asleep in the trenches. Other sources such as the book “South-Eastern Europe: The Main Problem Of The Present World Struggle” identified these two as a father and son duo.
That said, both scenarios can be true, in our opinion. Perhaps both of them were conscripted to serve their country during wartime and chose to remain close with each other while they held off enemy forces. Fighting in a war is tough enough; we reckon having the comfort of family around made things more bearable for them!
