The Only Frank Left Standing

Going from the sweet to the utterly heartbreaking, here is a photo of a lone Otto Frank at the attic where he and his family hid from the Nazis. He was the only member to survive the ordeal, and he made sure to spend the rest of his life keeping loved ones’ memories alive.
Otto facilitated the publishing of his daughter Anne Frank’s manuscripts, which became “The Diary Of A Young Girl.” He also helped in saving the home his family hid in during World War II and turning it into a museum called the Anne Frank House.
