A Couple On A Dinner Date In The ’50s
Before present-day fast dining restaurant chains entered the scene, it was diners that defined the American dining experience. They became particularly popular in the ’50s, especially among the youth, due to their low prices and long business hours, according to Business Insider.
Here’s a couple, dressed in quintessentially ’50s outfits, enjoying what appears to be a milkshake during a diner date. Unfortunately, we couldn’t find a ton of background info on these two lovers or the specific dining establishment they were photographed in. One thing’s for sure, though, they were one stylish pair!
