Rachel Ward – The Thorn Birds
With her towering height and good looks, Rachel Ward began her steady rise to stardom modeling for the cosmetics brand Revlon and the perfume maker Brut. She’s perhaps better remembered, though, as a TV and film star during the ’80s.
Her most notable works include the miniseries “The Thorn Birds” as well as films like “Dead Men Don’t Wear Plaid” and “Against All Odds.” Ward carried on acting throughout the ’90s up until the 2010s, although sporadically. As of 2020, she remains married to fellow actor Bryan Brown and lives with him in a home in New South Wales, Australia.
