One of Hollywood’s most celebrated actors today, Denzel Washington, began his slow but steady climb to the top starring in stage productions and playing small roles on the screen. His big break came in the ’80s when he was in the medical drama “St. Elsewhere.”
Washington bagged his first Oscar win a couple of years later, thanks to the 1989 film “Glory.” Not one to rest on his laurels, he continued honing his craft, starring in critically-acclaimed and commercially successful films alike. He returned to his theater roots in 2021 with the movie “The Tragedy Of Macbeth.”
