Talented as she is stunning, Veronica Hamel left a lasting impression on American viewers playing attorney Joyce Davenport in the ’80s police drama “Hill Street Blues.” She was so great in the role that she received five Emmy nominations for it for consecutive years!
That said, it’s a pity we never got to see her shine in more leading roles. After appearing in a long list of TV movies and programs, she stopped acting altogether in 2010. We haven’t heard much from her since, preferring to stay under the radar.
